Our Story

Massalia Potential is a group of international scientific researchers with doctorates in physics, chemistry, psychology, and education with a passion for teaching. We know that a love for learning opens opportunities. Our aim is to support students in their personal journey through inspiring science education. We focus on disadvantaged students and those who feel excluded from traditional teaching styles.

Following the pandemic, the already dire situation in math education was magnified to a level which could no longer be ignored. Many researchers have mentioned that although students continue to fall behind, the gap between the privileged and under-privileged continues to grow, and schools and policy makers have yet to respond effectively. Alternative teaching techniques are very present in the research literature yet remain a largely untapped resource when it comes to actual implementation in schools. We are here to bridge that gap. With our extensive in-classroom experiences, and state-of-the-art research, we will help put in place adapted learning environments that take into account student agency and emotional connection to math and science for enrichment through discovery.

Let’s explore the Cosmos together.
